Dr. Mushtaq frequently delivers Friday khutbahs and lectures at various mosques and Islamic centres in the areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He contributes articles to both English and Urdu Islamic magazines and is the author of the popular book Growing a Beard: In Light of the Qur'an, Sunnah and Modern Science (Ta-Ha Publishers Ltd.).
